A Darkening World

       So, this is the world we are living in. A world where all of this drama is unfolding all at once! This past year has been a total curse on Earth for a lot of people all over the world. America's 2016 Election was a bit of a nightmare right up until the world felt the electric shock that was Donald Trump's win.

Twitter has become the place to go to find out what is on the mind of the President-Elect. But it has also served as a place where everyday account holders can tweet back at him and say what is on THEIR minds. One such tweet really stuck out. 

As you can see, much of what Trump has said in past tweets has come back to haunt him. Insulting the electoral college while it was the ONLY way that he would have won the presidency makes him a GINORMOUS Hypocrite!

Hillary Clinton won by around two and a half MILLION votes. When republicans created the map that represented her popular votes, they just bunched all of them in California (a state she had already won) and in New England area. But realistically, the map should not be solid colored states in that case. It should appear like a speckled dusting of voters all over the US. It would more accurately represent the individual, rather than lumping them into a state. There were Clinton supporters who were Republican. But there was no representation of that on the map either. 

After the crushing win, Anti-Trump protesters from several states and large cities, many of them University students, took to the streets in what was a massive protest against the many controversial ideals of Trump and his supporters. Fox News took to calling out "Millenials" and insulting them in a most abhorrent fashion. These are our family members, our future reps, doctors, engineers, teachers, writers, and more, but they have been reduced to being represented by the media as "cry babies". 

What failed to be recognized by the people who treated them in such a way, is that if this generation is a generation of men and women who have actual, real, tangible feelings, then that means, their parents were doing something RIGHT! As opposed to being cold-hearted, empty, soulless demons like so many people have been for so long. We now have a generation of people standing up for equality across the board. 

Their motto is "Just wait until the old, cold, heartless generation dies out, we rule the future, we rule the world. They cling to an old and biased way of thinking that will not survive the future. They lash out, like a dying animal, their last ragged breath, voting for Trump. Voting for white America even as we see the scientific predictions that within a short time, the white race will no longer be dominant and will eventually be gone due to interracial mixing."

It this, they are not wrong. Not wrong at all! I'm 34, a mother of three half-Egyptian Arab children. So, I can say for sure, that mixing is stronger than ever in our society.

So, Donald Trump woke up at, or stayed up until 5 am to tweet about a pop culture magazine which displays an article about a man who witnessed the reactions of school aged children who didn't take Trump's win very well. That article below.

Donald Trump and the Rules of the New American Board Game

Anti-Trump Protests have been nothing new. And as far as many are concerned, they'll never get old!

It sure seems as though he just can't accept that people are still telling the world how much they feel his presidency is a threat to our democracy, our freedoms, our equality, and a multitude of other aspects of everyday American lives.

Another subject that has Trump's panties in a knot is the fact that so many are feeling conflict with the idea that while he would be the President, he would own businesses that could potentially serve as a deposit box for foreign governments, much of what he accused Hillary Clinton of, concerning the Clinton Foundation.


I understand that Trump spent his life building this empire, but he made a choice to lead this nation. He swore up and down that he would put "America First" even as he waves his hand dismissively about the CIA's findings concerning the Russian hacking of the DNC, and waves with the other blowing kisses at Vladimir Putin himself. He is going to force Americans to wonder about his tax returns, his business dealings and foreign interference. Those who question his motives for wanting to keep everything in his family including several government positions, has a good reason to question it.

And that takes me to the centerpiece of my article. Russia!


To the right is Trump's pick for Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, an oil/fuel tycoon and CEO of Exxon/Mobil. He happens to be extremely chummy with Vladimir Putin, as is clear from the photo, and is not any kind of new information either.

To the left, Paul Manafort, also a supporter of the Kremlin and a chum of Putin. Paul Manafort was a former campaign manager for Trump and was found out. He wound up with a famous "You're Fired!" from Trump. Why fire him if there was nothing to suspect about him? I'm sure the firing didn't come with any kind of actual reprimand. I'm quite sure that when Donald Trump stood before cameras at a live press conference and dared Putin to hack into Hillary Clinton's private server to locate the missing e-mails, Paul Manafort was all to glad to back the sentiment, and Putin obviously took it as an invitation.

Putin has clearly taken to bombing innocent people along with his buddy Al-Assad. Syrian rebels fight to take back their country and pay each day with the blood of their families. But here are these two dressed in $3000 suits, having a nice meeting. Hillary Clinton tried to warn Trump and the rest of us that the two were working together and innocent lives were being destroyed because of it. But Trump refuses to accept it. He refuses to believe. He is clearly delusional. That, or he is all out on a hunt for Muslim blood, like them, and wants to join their little party. I think we know how Trump feels about Muslims. Killing them overseas is the first step. How long before he has our own Muslim Americans hunted down and persecuted!?

Getting back to real quick to Rex Tillerson, we know what his station as secretary is going to mean for the people of the Dakotas who are protesting day and night against the installation of a massive pipeline that would traverse thousands of miles of land and water. They fear for their drinking water, their crops, their live stock, their families being exposed to poisoning.

If I weren't a mother of three children, I would be there right now, if it meant I had to hitch hike. As long as Trump is going to be the next president, we can't expect these people to win. And we can probably expect to see lethal force used to disperse the protesters if they become too adamant on sticking around. But these people will not be silenced!

Here we see that our president wants to save the planet and be a part of something bigger than any individual, as well as group, town, city, state, or even nation. We are talking about the whole bloody planet! But again, Trump will never acknowledge the need to take action against a man made crisis we are all responsible for!

The Electoral College issue is my last stop. It is currently after midnight on December 19th and today, the Electoral College will place their votes. There has been a massive uproar about the possibility of Electors going "Faithless" which, in other words, means changing their vote from Donald Trump (as is the tally vote for their state) in Red, to another candidate, be that another Republican or switching colors all together to Blue, in an attempt to give Hillary the win in the end.

I think anyone who reads anything I write, knows what I hope will happen. But if it isn't obvious, I want the #ECETurnRedtoBlue. That is my current hashtag of choice. We will hold our breath tomorrow as each state elector casts their final ballot for the President of the United States of America.

With all that has been said above, I can't understand any American who would allow a foreign government such as Russia, to bully them into choosing Trump over Hillary by threatening war. I think that anyone who chooses Trump just based on that spineless and empty threat is a coward. We are Americans! We don't accept getting pushed around! Land of the FREE! People DIED and still die every single day so that we never have to be subject to foreign rule, yet we just might have handed the presidency to the one guy who Vladimir Putin is most eager to control. He's a former KGB officer for God's sake, people! He will outwit Trump without even trying, and I think he already has by extending this warm congrats to Trump after his win. The signs are there people if you look hard enough! So, open your eyes!

That's all I got for tonight folks, but I will leave you with this last sentiment. If, by some miracle, enough electors go "Faithless" and Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, we will not be walking into the hands of a foreign government. We will put our foot down! The country will be ultimately better. Even though the white nation of Trump would all storm the gates with "pitchfork and torches", as Sheriff David Clarke said of Trump's possible loss during the campaign. But they would be forced to acknowledge that this world will keep moving forward, progressive values and thinking will push through the barrier of fear, doubt, and bigotry into a new and bright future!

Before the election and all hell breaks loose... let us pause and review!

Hello, and Welcome to Free Thinkers of the World Blog.

It has surely been a grueling campaign year and it isn't over yet!

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have finished three debates during which they discussed issues of all kinds. But, they also spent time jabbing at each other's life choices and career achievements or lack there of. Trump faced the harsh reality that he couldn't hide his failure to pay taxes for quite possibly decades, especially considering his refusal to show his tax returns claiming they were under audit and that his lawyers advised him not to offer them until it was over. Also a now famous tape of him having a very unsavory conversation with "Hollywood Access" host Billy Bush who has since been fired from the show after years of employment. And then 9 women coming forward with claims of sexual assault after he denied ever doing the things he mentioned in the tape. I'm not going to repeat them. We've heard enough. After all these missteps and many more, Trump went on to state that he may not accept the results of the election if Hillary wins. This sparked controversy for both Republicans and Democrats and has been the story of the hour. "I'll keep you in suspense" was his final word on the debate stage on that subject.

Hillary has had a lot of success in rallying minorities and women with college degrees. She has been keeping her speeches optimistic with the exception of her view of a Trump-run America. People have been more attracted to the light she shows of our country rather than the starkly contrasting darkness that Donald Trump has cast. There is no doubt that his supporters have felt that same darkness but Hillary's tactic is to promote being thankful that our country had all the great things it has because many and most places in the world can not compare. She has seen poverty stricken families in other countries who have no snap benefit program and feed their families old bread while they sit on a dirt floor. As someone who has traveled and seen those types of places, I can be sure that America truly is a great country and not to be undervalued. Trump paints a horrible picture of our military army suggesting that we have bad military tactics because we don't "sneak attack". Hillary grinned at this as she knows and has information and experiences with numerous covert missions that have been played out. One of the largest covert operations was the capture of Osama Bin Laden. This was a victory she shared in and watched live as it went down sitting beside Barack Obama.

Hillary has been hit with questions of her husband's questionable past concerning women, and accused of threatening those who spoke out against him. He went after her about the E-Mails, touched on Benghazi, and claimed she had spent 30 years working out these problems and had done nothing at all. She was able to circumvent the claim by comparing her 30 years of public service to Trump's 30 spent as a business man. She hit him for his business losses again as well. Hillary was particularly tough in the third debate. She held nothing back and gave Trump a taste of his own medicine firing shot after shot which seemed to back him into a corner pretty hard. He missed many opportunities to fire back as she threw him off his guard. He called her a "nasty woman"

for bringing up that he may not pay future workers in industries she intends to build up. Of course, he was mad because it was true that he did so in the past. He has a real problem, it seems, with dealing with his own truths and mistakes.

Hillary has dodged her share of bullets. She has made mistakes and has spoken about her regret. But Trump thinks he would make a better decision than her when faced with risking lives. He has no experience in this at all, and seems not to understand how accountability works when you see a number on a paper of how many soldiers died that day.

In the video above, Joe Biden was ace when he pulled out this paper and exclaimed his pain at seeing this number every day. How these men and women die fighting for our right to freedom. Trump belittled POW's saying how he "preferred soldiers who weren't captured" as if it was some fault of our officers for being captured, tortured and in many cases, killed!

And he goes on to mock a physically disabled reporter Serge Kovaleski.

But when we see disgusting displays of disrespect for even those with disabilities, for POW's, Mexicans, Muslims, women and more... We say this!

There has to be some sense deep in the hearts of his supporters that recoils when they hear his disregard. Trump has even gone so far as to state that Officer Humayun Khan, a Muslim military officer who was killed in Iraq, would still be alive if he had been president! This disregard for life and death and even for God, as many believe death is God's decision and not chance alone; It shows that he is so shallow as to not consider what saying something like that to that officer's parents, would do to them. He is a serious narcissist. I think he may even be a sociopath. I've seen him in cases where he should have shown some kind of emotion other than anger but it seemed empty.

It is a fact that sociopaths have been some of the most successful people. They are so because they have nothing to stop them from bulldozing over others to get what they want. They sacrifice others and subjugate and keep them below him in his mind. When he refused to pay workers for their work and materials, he proved he thinks they are lesser than him and that he can just pull out on them without fear of retribution. I suggest those people vote against him and show him just how he won't get away with it. People know the truth.

Trump has shown something else that disturbs me greatly. His daughter Ivanka is the apple of his eye, it seems and every other one of her siblings knows it. He almost ignores his other daughter, Tiffany. The Trump business doesn't include her and he hasn't seemed to do a lot for her. Is it because she is less attractive in his eyes, than Ivanka? We have to wonder, is there something inappropriate concerning how he looks at her? Let's review. In interviews with Howard Stern, comments about how she is a "piece of ass" were all but agreed on by her own father. He promotes her beauty all the time. He is seen in photos with her as a teen sitting on his lap next to a statue of two birds copulating. A little disgusting? She is always in short skirts or dresses in photos with him that were shot as promotional. He is heard saying " If she weren't my daughter, I'd be dating her." And Ivanka's face was clearly annoyed and repelled by the comment. The interviewer said "that's so weird" and Ivanka nodded in agreement! When asked in another interview, what they have most in common, he said " I was gonna say "sex" but I can't compete with her" or at least that is what it sounds like he said. It follows a pattern of sexist talk and inappropriate behavior toward women so much, because she is his own daughter.

At any rate, I think you know where I stand in the elections. I think the evidence of the right choice is obvious. I think we don't need a revolution to fix this country. We need a government that serves us, and we need to get off our butts and start working harder than ever to pick our country up! And that is what Hillary embodies in her campaign. Making the wealthy pay their fair share, including crafty Trump, making corporations do more for the country and not just operating in the name of capitalism would help a LOT! And Hillary didn't say she will not make middle class pay, but she did say she will not raise taxes from where they are, so with everyone fairly contributing on every level, this money can be routed into infrastructure, education, small business loans, and the return of manufacturing to our country. Trump will save himself 400 BILLION, that's 400 BILLION DOLLARS if he gets in. Have you ever seen even a MILLION dollars in your life? Let alone 400 BILLION!!! That is what he is in the race for! He owes, he wants more, he guarantees himself the power to create all the loopholes he wants in government to benefit himself and his kids alone after he is done. That is the simple fact of it, folks!

    Some people want to save the world but do nothing. Some people want to speak their mind, but say nothing. Some people think nothing they do or say will matter. They are WRONG! All of the accomplishments made by everyday people just like you and me are what have built the back bone of this country. We are the strength. And when we are weak, our country is weak. When we cower, our country cowers. And when we stand up to those who would subjugate and exploit us and steal our hard earned dollar, not only for ourselves and our families, but for everyone's benefit, we can change things and make them better. Just stop making excuses and realize we all have an important role to play. Voting is imperative even if you don't like the candidates at hand. You may still be the difference between the devil we know and the one we don't. The chances are up to us.

     I love my country. I have been to the Middle East, I have studied many religions, history from ancient times up to current events. I believe in being aware of our world. Turning a blind eye is only part of the problem. I want to see other people realize how much power we all have in numbers if we stick together and share the news, spread awareness. And involve more young people in the political process, even before they are eligible to vote.
